Mr. Harnsberger began his career
more than twenty years ago by preparing tax returns for clients,
and small business owners. He has helped thousands of clients
solve their PROBLEMS using common sense, and determination in
every case.
From 1997 until 2001 Mr. Harnsberger developed hundreds
of tax guides,
educational materials, and business systems that eventually became
a part of a Business Methods Patent for the tax, business, law,
and financial and insurance industry.
Mr. Harnsberger attended Cuyamaca College where he graduated
with Honors (Phi Theta Kappa) in Paralegal Studies. He interned
at the law offices of Richard Vermazen, an outstanding tax and
bankruptcy attorney in the San Diego area. He learned first hand
the complicated issues involved in conducting research necessary
to solve a problem for a client in bankruptcy, criminal taxes,
and IRS audits and investigations.
In 2002 Mr. Harnsberger founded Tax Smart America, and began
implementing his business methods patent systems in the tax industry,
and continued his success by helping clients not only solve their
tax problems with the IRS, but learn how to build their wealth
by understanding how taxes work, and what could be done legally
to reduce taxes for clients.
Mr. Harnsberger has lectured, given seminars, and has conducted
hundreds of presentations around the country and in Mexico and
Costa Rica on the affects of taxation to small business owners.
In 2004 he was awarded the Businessman of the Year Award by the
NRCC, by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tom Delay.
In 2005 Mr. Harnsberger received the distinguished Ronald Regan
Gold Medal Award for leadership in his work on small business
taxes in the United States.
He has lobbied for a number of years to require the National
Office of the IRS to impose stricter educational requirements
nationwide for those who prepare tax returns for a fee.
In 2004 the IRS announced it would begin requiring education
and continued education for all tax preparers who assist taxpayers.
As the author of more than 300 tax guides, and
hundreds of articles, Mr. Harnsberger has taught attorneys, CPA's,
Enrolled Agents, and tax preparers alike, the more complex issues
of tax preparation and resolving problems with the IRS using
